Event Description
When Linda Parelli trained us in her new program, we naturally tried out the different modules on our own horses. Not only did my most advanced horses become even more refined and progress more quickly technically, but above all, I obtained much faster and more effective results, even with very sensitive horses. The Happy Horse program takes us to a whole new level of understanding and relationship with our horse; we gain faster access to their mindset and, most importantly, we discover what the word CONNECTION truly means!
Having a bond with your horse is SO important that the entire first module of the Happy Horse program is dedicated to it, and that's where we'll start this course.
The first three modules cover basic behaviors, and we will progress through them. Through these modules—CONNECTION, RELAXATION, and RESPONSE—you will gain the understanding and solutions for any unwanted behavioral issues you encounter. Our second objective is to define your specific problems!
Finally, having a plan, knowing how to organize your session, and knowing how to prepare your program to achieve your goals: this is our third objective! Everyone has dreams, and I'm sure you and your partner have plenty. To make your dreams a reality, you need to give them a deadline, a time limit, to have a target date, and define your action plan to achieve them. We'll cover all of this during this workshop.
WHO IS THIS INTERNSHIP FOR?
- This course is open to ridden horses aged 3 years and over.
- Stallions and horses with significant issues are not accepted on the introductory and beginner courses, but may be accepted, on a case-by-case basis upon request, on the expert level courses, even if the horses are not at that level. The human being is responsible for their herd of two, namely you and your horse, with regard to the safety of all participants. Learning requires a great deal of attention and sometimes personal energy, so it is best if you contact me for private lessons, training livery, or if I can suggest the most suitable course from the calendar based on your individual circumstances.
- Whether you are already riding a horse and whatever your level or discipline, this course is based on understanding and integrating behavior into our actions: it focuses on our desires, on the needs of your horse, and on the primary objective of obtaining a happy horse in what we do with him.
