ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP AND THE FREEDOM PROGRAM

The Freedom program is a sequence of skills to acquire in order to have a clear, subtle, and natural conversation with your horse. It is available online in Equideo's Complete Training Program. For this course, you can choose to:

• Fully discover the basics of a Powerful Connection and the expected body organization in your horse in order to then develop beautiful movements on the rope, as well as at liberty.
• Follow and observe each couple outside of group practice sessions (two groups will be formed)
• Learn and develop new skills individually on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
• Sunday afternoon will be spent in small group or individual sessions in the lunge ring to fully integrate your new learning.
• For those already advanced in liberty work or who have completed the 2024-2025 Liberty Workshop series, be prepared to reach entirely new levels of subtle communication with your horse and witness its magnificent transformation before your very eyes.

YOU WILL LEARN:

• Reading the balance, the lines, the body organization, the weight transfers, the nose/head/neck/forehand orientation defines the mental and then physical commitment in each movement.
• The importance of understanding tact: Are you subtle, clear, and precise in your requests? Do you allow for imprecision? Do you confuse your horse? Achieve a whole new quality of responses and movements.
• The orientation of each foot and body reference points give you the correct angles to work at.
• How to address common problems of disconnection, fear, confusion, and tension that occur in horses?
• How can I get rid of my ears sticking back and my face looking tense?
• How to achieve harmony, both in the most basic and the most technical movements?

At Equideo, each training course gives you at least 3 months of work to develop afterwards at home with a precise plan to follow thanks to the online course platform.

You are not alone, you are not abandoned, and you have a personal journey to develop. Furthermore, online training allows you to share your doubts, your questions, as well as your successes, through images and videos!

IN PRACTICE

The course starts each day at 8:30 am with the welcome, then the teaching begins with theory and practical simulations from 9 am.

Lunch break from 12:30 to 13:45.

On Sunday, a question and answer session is planned around the practices seen the day before, as well as open questions about the horse.

Accommodation is available at the on-site gîte, subject to availability.

If you don't have your own horse, our school horses would be delighted to ride with you. Please let us know in the additional information section of your booking confirmation.
