Equideo workshops: How to create a powerful connection in freedom?

ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS: HORSES AND TASTINGS!

Equideo workshops are 1.5-hour sessions open to everyone, even non-riders. They consist of a presentation on a specific theme in the company of Equideo's horses. Depending on the theme, the workshops take place in various locations within the Equideo Education Center (round pen, arena, riding school, paddocks, etc.) and aim to present a specific topic live, answer all your questions, and provide you with intense and unforgettable experiences.

The workshop is followed by a tasting of quality wines and local products made by our close neighbors. We will introduce you to our valued partner winemakers, Xavier and Violaine de Franssu, from Mas de Cynanque. The tasting is included with our workshop. The wines presented are organic and made from hand-harvested grapes. They are produced at Mas de Cynanque, in their private cellar. You will have the opportunity to choose your bottles to pair with your meals, guided by the expert advice of Xavier and Violaine.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

The workshops are maintained with a minimum of 6 participants. Depending on the location of the workshop, and to ensure quality discussions, it can accommodate a maximum of 8 to 40 people.

IN PRACTICE

Please arrive at the Equideo Education Center 15 minutes before the start of the workshop. Parking is available in the lot above the main arena. No special attire is required (please wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities in a natural environment). Chairs and benches will be provided.

Practical simulations between participants take place with the equipment provided on site according to the theme of the workshop.

You can take notes, photos, and videos (photos and videos are for your personal use only). Posting photos on your social media is possible with the prior approval of the people in the photo.

TODAY'S THEME: HOW TO CREATE A POWERFUL CONNECTION IN FREEDOM?

Building a connection is crucial for a quality relationship and conversation with horses. In this workshop, you will learn:

• What does the connection really look like, what is it?
• learning to read body language
• learn what the horse's energy is, and your own
• How to create connection naturally through energy and movement, without using treats
• understand why the connection might be lost and how to recover it
• When and how should treats be used?

This workshop includes:

• practical simulations between participants
• the study of a herd in the large quarry
• observations of practice in the arena with a group of horses
• observations of practice in the lunge ring
• question and answer sessions
• a convivial moment of tastings
