A stay where intertwine A calming environment, human and equine well-being, learning and great discoveries! Experience intense emotions every day with your horse, or with one of our schoolmaster horses. Unpack your bags, settle your horse comfortably, explore the facilities, and together we'll make a list of the issues to resolve, the goals to achieve, and above all, the dreams to fulfill. Two lessons a day are scheduled for you and your horse with Sarah. YOU choose the themes and format of each lesson because At Equideo we can do anything Freedom, van, specific discipline, outdoors, career, etc. Only your imagination is the limit! At the end of your stay, we have a final debriefing with a review of your progress and everything that was covered on site, then we define together your progression plan for your return home.
Lessons with your own horse, or with a schoolmaster horse: Two lessons per day with Sarah are included in your stay, either in a group with your fellow participants or individually, depending on your preferences (e.g., introductory sessions on liberty work, van work, etc.). The rest of the day includes immersion at Equideo, your individual practice on our various facilities, and free time (strolling, observing, riding, etc.).
A stay to practice and develop your skills: Your stay gives you ACCESS TO ALL FACILITIES from the Equideo Education Centre, and in particular unlimited access to the brand new multi-discipline equestrian park. Spend time with your horse and develop your skills on our professional facilities. 20x60m Vallabrix micro-sand arena, watered and harrowed, 18m round pen, grass training area, our private trails for outdoor riding, various training and daily care areas, etc.
A VIP stay in a very small group: Come with your friends or family to share these exciting moments with the horses. Enjoy aperitifs with the miniature ponies and immerse yourself in the Equideo herds. Experience a peaceful stay in a tranquil setting, surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views stretching all the way to the Clape Narbonnaise.
Place offered to Equideo conferences or workshops, if organised during your stay! Equideo Workshops are practical demonstrations on a given theme, and the conferences are theoretical presentations. They last between 1.5 and 2 hours and include refreshments for participants. We are offering you a place to attend.
Live and sleep on site: Choose your room in our fully renovated and equipped self-catering cottage. Bed linen is provided. We have three bedrooms with double beds (140cm), including one suite. Rooms are assigned in the order of registration. The village, 5km away, has all the usual shops for your personal needs. You are free to prepare your own breakfast. We share lunch and dinner, enjoying discussions among fellow enthusiasts (everyone takes turns preparing a meal, or we can share a potluck-style dish).
Accommodation for your horse: Secure, electrified paddock accommodation with high-quality, three-tiered Gallagher fencing and wooden fencing. Organic hay from our own production, water, minerals, etc. Natural wood trough for feeding. Parking for your vehicle in a stabilized and secure parking area under video surveillance.
Equideo's equestrian environment: Equideo is an experimental breeding ground. We strive to respect the flora and fauna of our environment as best we can, with a stable and facilities that are perfectly integrated. What materials should we choose? What location? What orientation? How can we maximize the development of diverse flora and preserve ecosystems so that horses can live in a privileged environment? What trees should we choose, what fencing, how, and why? Discover all this and ask us your questions!
Stable organization and operation: Maintenance and organization of the facilities, organization of tasks and care, daily communication with our horses. The connection is created with every moment spent with them. It's not just about "doing," but about knowing "how" to do it in order to maintain a constant, meaningful dialogue with our horses.
Working with horses: Observe Sarah and her horses, both in the development of technique and the relationship in each of her sessions, whether on the ground or in the saddle. You can participate and ask any questions you may have.
