NEW! IT IS NOW POSSIBLE TO TAKE VIDEO CONFERENCE AND LIVE CLASSES FROM HOME
Benefits : Save on travel costs and enjoy lessons in the comfort of your own home, just like if I were at your workplace. Equipment required: Bluetooth headphones for clear communication and a phone holder. You can also take advantage of 12- or 20-lesson packages for regular and effective relationship support, with 2 and 3 lessons free respectively!
Here are the steps and equipment you need to have live coaching via video call:
- Once your course booking is confirmed by email, you contact me. either via private message on the platform, or by email to contact@equideo.fr so that we can plan your course together.
- Once the lesson is scheduled on the calendar, you will receive a Google Meet link by email to access the video conference for your lesson. Access is opened within 5 minutes before the start of the class.
- In terms of equipment, you will need two things: a smartphone + Bluetooth earbuds OR a Pivo (or similar) + Bluetooth earbuds
- Make sure your phone holder is securely attached/hooked., In strong winds, the tripod of your tripod is also a concern. You can test different viewpoints beforehand depending on the daylight. A good idea is to mark the area covered by your phone's wide-angle lens. This allows you to see if you're going out of frame.
- With the Pivo system, you send me your access link so that I can control the Pivo remotely., and you also choose whether you want to record your lesson.
- With the Google Meet link, you will receive the recording of your class by email within two days of the class.
- Sometimes questions come to you after the lesson.. I am always available to answer your questions in the app here, by email, or by message. Please also feel free to write down any questions you may have about horses before your visit or before we meet. There are no silly questions, so don't leave them unanswered.
- Remember to bring a spare battery in case your phone, or the Pivo, runs out of power.
- For Equideo Members: I will give you the different lessons to watch on the platform after your lesson, as well as some practice exercises to complete before our next lesson. A helpful tool for you is to pre-fill the self-assessment table for Modules 1 to 6 to see where you stand both on the ground and in the saddle with your horse.
See you very soon in our online class! 😉
What awaits you:
More than just riding lessons, coaching with Sarah Fricoteaux offers a new understanding of your horse's psychology and behavior, revealing a multitude of details in each session that make all the difference in your relationship and partnership with your horse. Lessons begin on the ground and then progress to riding.
We want to make our horse a happy athlete, not just an obedient one. We want a true partner, motivated and willing, eager to do things with you, and who constantly asks questions. Communication means taking into account the needs and, above all, the feelings of the other.
What Sarah teaches:
- Connecting with your horse's mind and understanding the concepts of energy, tact, and the other's feelings
- Training in a relaxed manner and in response to subtle cues
- Developing your horse's confidence: in itself, in humans (and more specifically you, its rider), in the environment, in other horses, and in daring to learn new things
- Riding with a horse that is self-supporting and allows its rider to regulate its speed
- Developing the physique, healthy biomechanics, and flexibility of your horse
- Achieving harmony and performance with a happy horse, whatever the discipline chosen
Advantageous rates with course cards:
We offer 12-lesson passes (with 2 free lessons) and 20-lesson passes (with 3 free lessons) for those wishing to fully invest in their passion and progress.
Special conditions:
- Lessons must be booked and paid for in advance. Bookings can be made by email, phone, direct message, or through the Equideo app. Payment for lessons can be made in the shop or on-site (for lesson passes only; individual lessons cannot be paid for on-site), or by card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
- I travel to stables for groups of 3 or more horses, or for 3 or more lessons on-site. Just make your arrangements, and I'll be happy to come to your stable. Benefits: you can attend your friends' lessons, you reduce travel costs by sharing, it's more motivating and faster than learning in a group, and you'll see a wider range of riding situations. Please note: the stable manager must, of course, have given their permission for my visit!
- For each lesson, please arrive at least 30 minutes early to take the time to connect with your horse (or one of ours), say hello, synchronize with him, prepare him, etc. When you begin With us, fetching your horse, safely passing through gates, knowing the correct knots, performing a polite grooming, how to set up and adjust the equipment, etc., is already part of the course! You will be free to do it on your own once we have assessed your autonomy and ground skills.
- If you are late, the class will end on time, otherwise you will make my day late!
- Horse riding is an outdoor sport, so dress accordingly. Lessons may be rescheduled in case of heavy rain, or they may be adapted to the weather (ground exercises in the stable, lessons on rider posture, etc.).
- Sometimes questions come to you after I've left, or when you get home. I'm always available to answer them in the mobile app, by email, or by message. Please also feel free to jot down any questions you may have about horses before your visit or before we meet, either on paper or on your phone. There are no silly questions, so don't leave them unanswered.
